Sheep, goats, male goats, and rams registered in the registration systems of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry are covered as a result of a risk assessment and evaluation.
With the Comprehensive Tariff, this insurance provides coverage for sheep and goats against the following risks which cause material damages due to deaths and forced slaughtering and directly incurred by the insured within the framework of the General Terms and Conditions and Tariff and Instructions;
- All kinds of animal diseases and deaths caused by pregnancy, breed, or surgical intervention,
- Diseases such as bluetongue, sheep and goat plague (PPR), sheep and goat pox, epizootic hemorrhagic disease of deer (EHD), rift valley fever, which are notifiable under the Law No. 5996 on Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed,
- Any accident, wild animal attack, snake and insect bites,
- Poisonous meadow grasses and food poisoning,
- All natural disasters and sunstroke,
- Fire or explosion
Also, optionally, provided that additional premiums are charged based on the results of an assessment or risk review;
a) Provided that all insurable animals in enterprises that have a certificate of disease-free status and have taken bio-security measures are insured; This insurance may cover material damages directly incurred by the insured as a result of deaths caused by foot-and-mouth disease, forced slaughtering , (Foot-and-mouth disease coverage is not provided in the provinces of Edirne, Tekirdağ, Kırklareli and the districts on the European side of Istanbul and Çanakkale provinces, which are vaccinated-free zones),
b) At the insured location specified in the policy,
Direct damages to the insured animals due to theft or attempted theft and committed during the transportation of the insured animals between the facility at the location specified in the policy and the pasture or pastures notified by the insured and accepted by the Agricultural Insurance Pool, involves breaks-in by:
- Breaking, drilling, breaking down, overturning, or forcing entry,
- Climbing, diving, or passing through agility using tools, equipment, or physical ability,
- Using the lost, stolen, wrongfully obtained original key, or by making a duplicate key or using other tools or password assistance to unlock,
- Secretly entering, hiding, or closing in insured locations,
- Killing or injuring other persons and by using force, violence and threats.
c) Material damages directly incurred by the insured as a result of deaths, forced slaughtering due to terrorist acts specified the Anti-Terror Law No: 3713, sabotage arising from such acts, and interventions by authorized bodies to prevent and mitigate their effects.
d) Material damages directly incurred by the insured as a result of deaths, forced slaughtering as a result of events occurring during strikes, lockouts, riots or public movements and interventions made by authorized bodies to prevent these incidents and mitigate their effects.
In Limited Coverage Tariff;
Provided that all insurable animals in the enterprise are insured; this insurance provides coverage for all insured sheep and goats against the following risks which cause material damages due to deaths and forced slaughtering and directly incurred by the insured within the framework of the General Terms and Conditions and Tariff and Instructions:
- Any accident, wild animal attack, snake and insect bites,
- Poisonous meadow grasses and food poisoning,
- All natural disasters and sunstroke,
- Fire or explosion
Also, optionally, provided that additional premiums are charged based on the results of an assessment or risk review and that all animals that are insurable are insured the followings are covered within the framework of the General Terms and Conditions and Tariff and Instructions:
a) At the insured location specified in the policy,
Direct damages to the insured animals due to theft or attempted theft and committed during the transportation of the insured animals between the facility at the location specified in the policy and the pasture or pastures notified by the insured and accepted by the Agricultural Insurance Pool, involving breaks-in by:
